The City Flea is Cincinnati's original curated, urban flea market that takes place once a month at Washington Park and various other locations through out the year. Since its conception in 2011 The Flea has seen dozens of vendors grow from hobby to full time business and it is with much pride that we consider ourselves not only a monthly market, but a small business incubator, community organization, and city advocate. The Flea is a place to keep your dollars local, support small business and experience YOUR city in a unique and engaging way.
Our vendors range from vintage dealers to artisan pizza makers to plant studios. We have something for everyone.
Our current season runs from April thru December. (Check the 'MARKETS' tab for exact dates and locations)
HISTORY
The City Flea is the project of a couple from Cincinnati, passionate about the city landscape who have lived in Chicago, Los Angeles, and Brooklyn where they found a lot of inspiration for the Flea. The City Flea sprouted in 2011 after its creators moved back to the Queen City and saw first hand that the city is teeming with creativity, energy, and people who are excited about selling, shopping, and staying local.
On June 4th 2011 The City Flea sprang into action and the first 45 vendors 'delivered the goods' leaving people hungry for more. About 70 vendors sold over the course of the first summer season and now in the twelfth season of operation, the Flea has hosted over 400 creative, unique vendors and small businesses, and see's thousands of shoppers each market.
